Spiritual direction is the guidance and facilitation of an intimate and sacred conversation between you and God where you will learn how to tune into where He is already present in your life and how He is currently at work forming you. It’s is a space cultivated to reveal His supernatural solution and guidance as we learn to trust Him with our human agenda. It’s learning all that we have access to as we learn closeness with him.
Spiritual Direction is the heartbeat of Homemaker. It’s the rawest form of counseling we can enter into because it’s practice is to enter into direct communion with The Great Counselor.

Have had therapy, or some form of recovery but sense the need for something more
You want to grow deeper in your relationship with God
You’re asking questions about calling, clarity, or next steps
You're in a season of spiritual dryness, doubt, or deconstruction
You’ve experienced church hurt, and want to reconnect with God safely
You feel called into something deeper — but aren’t sure how to discern it

Common themes that clients who have began Spiritual Direction have brought when just starting out —
“I walked away from God and am ready to begin exploring a relationship with him but don’t know where to start.”
“I want to have a relationship with God but don’t know how to work through feeling like He wasn’t there for me.”
“I want someone to help me grow spiritually.”
“I don’t know how to hear God anymore.”
“I miss the presence of God, but I’m scared to be let down.”
“I want a space that’s not clinical, but not religious performance either.”
“I want to know who I am now that I’ve healed.”
“I crave guidance that’s both sacred and safe.”

You’ve done the brave work. You’ve sat in the therapist’s chair, faced your story, named your pain, and learned to breathe again. But now… you feel a holy shift. A quiet invitation.
Not into fixing — but into following.
Not into survival — but into surrender.Spiritual Direction is a space for this next chapter. It is not therapy, and it is not performance. It is a slow, sacred journey of noticing God — in your past, your present, and what’s being formed in you now.
